So this is an idea I've been working on for awhile - my obsessions combined. And for those of you confused Homestar Runner fans, by "Monkey D." I mean this Monkey D. ([link]) not this Monkey D. ([link]). And for the confused One Piece fans, well, go here: ([link]). Allow me to run through each of the characters:

Strong Sad as the Going Merry:
Commentary: The Going Merry with Strong Sad's head, or, as I've taken to calling it, the "Going Dreary." The difficult part here was redesigning Luffy's Jolly Roger to look like Homestar.
Character Commentary: Its just his likeness, so he's not really in a position to comment.

Homestar Runner as Monkey D. Luffy:
Commentary: Getting Homestar's face right was a bit of a challenge; you draw those eyes a tiny bit off it looks weird. Even so, I think I managed.
Character Commentary: "I think'm some sowt of wubber man... and a piwate, which is nice."

The Cheat as Tony Tony Chopper:
Commentary: This may be the best thing ever, and it came out real nice.
Character Commentary: "Meh."

Strong Bad as Roronoa Zoro:
Commentary: As with Homestar, getting his face right was crucial. I drew him without any swords to make it easier on myself.
Character Commentary: "Um... While I stand by my well-known stance on japanimation, I've got to say: Three Swords?! That's is pretty freckin' sweet. I'm not really sure what you do with the third one, but even if you've just got it that's intimidating."

Marzipan as Nami:
Commentary: I went for the original Nami look. I used Teenage Marzipan ([link]) as a template. The objects to her right by the railing are suppose to be Nami's logpose and bracelet, on Marzipan's invisible arm.
Character Commentary: "I feel pirates promote violence."

Coach Z as Sanji:
Commentary: This came out alright. I was trying to make it seem like he was a step behind Marzipan, but I think it just looks like he's shorter then he should be.
Character Commentary: "I'm the ship's cork, althorugh I dorn't knor anyorne coruld dor much corking with orne eye. And kids, this is orne or them candy cigarettorts - stay in schor."

Bubs as Usopp:
Commentary: Came out surprising well considering how challenging the task seemed. The object above his mouth is suppose to be a makeshift false nose.
Character Commentary: "I can't think of anyone less like me; This guy is a total pigeon, scared of his own shad-ow, and a chronic liar. I don't lie, I move merchandise!"
